Deep Reef Resin 3:1 is a premium grade, slow curing epoxy resin system formulated for deep casting applications. This two-part system delivers a crystal clear, high strength finish with exceptional clarity and UV resistance.
Designed for large volume pours up to 50mm deep in a single pour without overheating or cracking, it’s ideal for deep river tables, feature castings, and artistic applications where clarity and depth matter.
Once cured, Deep Reef offers excellent chemical resistance and can tolerate surface temperatures of up to 85°C, making it both durable and practical for functional surfaces.
Mix Ratio & Working Time
- Mixing Ratio: 3 parts resin: 1 part hardener by volume
- Working Time: 60–90 minutes (varies with ambient temp and volume)
- Cure Time: 48–72 hours for full cure (longer in cooler temps)
Tip: For best results, always measure accurately by volume and pour in a temperature-controlled environment (18–25°C).
Cleaning:
Use alcohol-based solvents like IPA, ethanol, or acetone to clean mixing implements and tools. General-purpose thinners are recommended to keep working equipment clean. Always wear disposable rubber/nitrile gloves to protect your hands and maintain proper industrial hygiene.
